MCCASKILL – At 9:45 this morning, McCaskill Volunteer Fire Department was paged out to a house fire on Hempstead 29. The fire started in the kitchen and did extensive interior damage. Fortunately, we were able to extinguish the fire before the house was a total loss. Our deep gratitude is extended to Ozan and Bingen Fire Departments for providing mutual aid, and Pafford EMS for responding and to check out our guys who overheated.
