HOPE – Excitement came to the Hempstead County Library on Thursday, July 16.
An energy-filled crowd of 75 to 100 children and adults assembled mid-afternoon
for the third date of the 2026 Summer Reading Program entitled, “Do Art
Assembly”, featuring Chet Roush with Do Art Productions [doartproductions.org].
Roush is a performance artist from Hampshire, Illinois. Kids and adults alike can look forward to Friday, July 24 and the next special event called, “Mr. Nick’s Dinosaur Crew”, at 2:00 p.m. at the Hempstead County Library.
