PRESCOTT – During the summer break Prescott School District has been busy planning and hiring new staff. Misty Gilbert (Jr. High Math), Justin Brown ((Social Studies), Autumn Welch (High School Math) Amelia Mullins (Paraprofessional) and Samantha Hayes (Art) have all joined the team.
Prescott students needing service hours have the opportunity of helping out either with Brother Curry’s Feed on Saturday July 25th (2-4 volunteers needed, 4 service hours) or Hamilton Haven doing cleaning. Contact counselor Jennifer Robbins for more information. There’s a Golf/Cross-Country parents’ meeting on July 23rd from 5-6 in the Sports Arena.
The district is providing all school supplies other than a backpack and water bottle.
There will be another open house on August 6th for K-12 and one for Pre-school on August 13th. Classes begin on August 10th for K-12 and August 17th for Pre-school.
