Jim Jackson was one of the speakers at the Hope Lions Club on Monday. In his presentation on his background of growing up in Columbus, he showed several clippings from his high school days. He had a clipping showing Kiffenea Talley as the 1986 Homecoming Queen. He noted he didn’t realize she was in the Lions Club when he prepared his slideshow. Following the program, Jackson and Talley (who is now Hope’s Vice-Mayor) had time to visit and talk about their high school days.
