HOPE – Watermelon wonder has officially kicked off as the long-awaited Miss & Mister Hope Watermelon pageant was held on Tuesday, August 4th. The pageant was held at the Klipsch Auditorium in City Hall in front of an unprecedented crowd. Many parents and onlookers were forced to stand as seats were unavailable. Between 11 categories, a total of 65 contestants of all ages competed in the pageant. Supervising the event was Ms. Gigi Bradshaw, as Rebecca Payden served as the night’s emcee. After all was finished, the audience witnessed moments of laughter, excitement, and reminders of the great festival soon to come. Here are the winners of every sector:
