Frances Harris, age 87, of Emmet, Arkansas passed away on Tuesday, August 11, 2026, in Prescott, Arkansas.
Mrs. Frances was born on March 4, 1939, in Delight, Arkansas to her parents Clyde and Ina Lamb Henderson. She had a love for many things including camping, fishing, and sewing. But more than anything she loved spending time with her family.
She was preceded in death by her parents; first husband and the father of her children, James Hale; second husband, Walter Harris; six brothers, W.C. Henderson, James Henderson, Curtis Henderson, Clovis Henderson, Melvin Henderson, Kenneth Henderson; and one granddaughter, Jennifer Cox.
Left to cherish her memory are her three daughters, Barbara Fore (Kenny), Karen McBride (W.C.), Angela Andres; stepson, Fred Harris (Debbie); stepdaughter, Tina Barlow (Jack); two brothers, Charles Henderson (Sue), Tommy Henderson (Sharon); one sister, Sue Horton (Roger); seven grandchildren, Chris Fore, Jami Purtle, Kimberly Revels, Jason Cox, Jonathon Korenek, Marcus Korenek, Kendrick Fore; and a host of great grandchildren and great great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, August 14, 2026, at First Baptist Church Emmet with Bro. James Cox and Bro. David Hampton officiating. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service. Burial will be at Snell Cemetery under the direction of Brazzel-Oakcrest Funeral Home, The Funeral Home of Hope, Ben Brazzel, Director.
