RURAL HEMPSTEAD COUNTY – A Wednesday night single-vehicle crash claimed the life of a Hope man. According to the preliminary report from the Arkansas State Police, a 2021 Ford F-150 pickup driven by Brandon Goode, 44, of Hope, was southbound on Hempstead County Road 3 and was attempting to make a left curve, lost control, left the roadway, and collided with a tree.
The State Police said it was raining at the time of the crash, which was logged at 9:29 pm. Trooper Jacob Haynie investigated.
