PRESCOTT – The Curley Cubs have had two recent victories with the Junior High Cubs winning 44-15 and the 7th grade Curley Cubs just won a game 20-0!
Junior High has had Interim testing, and the district will celebrate the students who have done well after testing is complete.
Mr. Moore received one of the first Junior High Positive Teacher referrals by a student who wanted to recognize him for a positive impact.
Pre K Elementary is off to a great start as the students learn their letters, numbers, and all about feelings, the farm and learning to graph in Math.
The Curley Cubs are also having Interim celebrations for their hard work. The district is excited to celebrate their effort. Once testing is complete the students who earned three levels of achievement will be announced. Triple crown is the achievement of levels 3 or 4 in English Language. Double threat is is level 3 or 4 in two subjects. Interim standout is level 3 or 4 in one subject. The Cubs are encouraged to keep working as every bit of progress matters.
There were seventy-six 5th graders who scored as English Language proficient. Ava Stockton was the first 5th grader to read to fill her card by reading 10 chapter books.
Six PHS students won first place for their art at the Fair. Reagan Cranford won best of the show! The other winners were Jose Banda, Ella Strickland, Alivia Griffin, Grayson Conrad and Kylie Woods. Hard work, dedication and a little creativity can lead to big accomplishments!
High School Science teacher Stacey Rosenbaum and her students won the growth award for the Southwest Region!
Kenny Burns was recognized for participation in Arkansas School of Math, Science and Arts Talent Identification Program for the year 2025-26.
Ty Jester and Danny Ingram competed in the 7-3A Golf Tournament in Pine Bluff.
Gesus Britton won 1st place overall at the Louis Davis Cross Country Invitational at SAU!

Brylee Smillie and Arden Gonzalez were recognized for completing their Graffiti Tagging Projects early.
