DE QUEEN – Bobcat dreams are proven alive and well after the Bobcat tennis team traveled to Herman Dierks Memorial Park in De Queen on Tuesday, September 29th. After all was said and done, the team had delivered an audacious final statement to the conference before the looming district tournament. The Cats proved that they were district ready, winning four out of five varsity matches against the De Queen Leopards with the junior varsity picking up the majority of their face-offs as well. Although the weather was not as pleasant as it was for the last two tennis meets, a great shading was provided by the surrounding trees.
After wrapping up their 2026 regular season with a smash success, the Bobcat tennis team will now set their eyes on the much-anticipated district tournament, being held on Monday, October 5th, on the courts located at Ouachita Baptist University and Henderson State University in Arkadelphia. There is no charge for attendance, so come and support the Bobcats!
