The threat of rain could not stop the Hope Downtown Network’s “Taste of Hope” Saturday (10-3). The annual event moved inside the First Baptist Church Family Life Center. A good crowd turned out and there was lots of fun with the “Wizard of Oz” theme.
Here are the winners of the prizes at the annual event:
Beverly Burkett won the Milwaukee radio, donated by LaGrone Williams.
Ann Marie Brown won the toys, donated by Tractor Supply.
Diane Crow won the pink wheelbarrow and bucket of paint, donated by Sherwin-Williams and Brentwood Industries.
Mike Malek and Gail Godwin each won a dessert-of-the-month gift, donated by Martin’s.
Karen Bennett won a Four States Furniture gift card and a Picket Fence gift card.
