Prescott blanks Horatio Friday night

The Prescott Curley Wolves continue to pile up points in high school action, with a 54-0 rout of the Horatio Lions Friday night.

A 29-yard pass play opened scoring for Prescott as quarterback Desmond Prater connected with Wes Cornelious on a 29-yard pass. The Wolves struck again as Treyvion Evans ran 23-yards on a fumble recovery. A third touchdown in the first quarter came on a 46-yard pass play from Prater to Cornish.

A 14-yard run by Kayden Gleason started the second quarter scoring. That was followed by touchdown runs of 63-yards and 7-yards by Tiden McKillion.

Andrew Wellingham added a touchdown in the third quarter on a 15-yard run, and Jack Kisselburg added another touchdown in the fourth quarter on a 30-yard run.

Prescott led in total yards 366-86, while Horatio fumbled five times, recovering three.
