Jerry Dale Calhoon, age 63, of Hope, Arkansas, passed away on October 23, 2026. He was born on February 27, 1963, to Buddy and Barbara Calhoon and was a lifelong resident of Hope.
Jerry enjoyed hunting and fishing. He found peace and happiness in the outdoors and cherished the simple things in life. Jerry retired as Plant Manager at Klipsch after 42 years of service.
Above all, Jerry deeply loved his family, especially his grandson, who held a special place in his heart. His love for his family was an important part of who he was. Jerry was a Christian by faith.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Buddy and Barbara Calhoon.
He is survived by his loving wife of 38 years, Gena Calhoon; son and daughter in law, Justin and Kate Calhoon; grandson, Lux Calhoon; his brother Mike Calhoon and his wife Lexie; brother in law, Mark (Skeeter) Huckabee; nieces and nephews, Kyle (Reagan) Huckabee, Erin (Chance) Davlin, Sarah Huckabee, Weston (Hannah) Huckabee, Mazie Calhoon, Molly Calhoon; along with a host of other relatives and friends.
A memorial service honoring Jerry will be held at 6:00 PM on Monday, October 26, 2026, in the chapel of Herndon-Fuqua Funeral Home with Rev. Daniel Bramlett officiating.
