Charges of Capital Murder and Capital Rape have been filed against 33 year old James Richard Ivey of Emmet according to 8th North Prosecutor Ben Hale. The Charges stem from an August arrest involving a 4 year-old child. The child was treated at Southwest Arkansas Regional Medical Center in Hope later transferred to Arkansas Children’s Hospital where she later died.
