Hope School Board Meeting
HOPE- The Hope Public School; School Board hosted their school board meeting Thursday, June 8. The meeting was called to order at 5:30 with two main points for the evening. The board first discussed new business referring to the cafeteria remodels for the Yerger Middle School and the Hope Academy of Public Service (HAPS). Mr. Coronado overseen the meeting while Superintendent Bobby Hart read off the bid offers that he seen fit for both schools. The bid that was accepted for the YMS was $96,950.25, the bid for the HAPS cafeteria was $80,288.42. This will go towards painting and the seating arrangements for the cafeteria.
The board then discussed personnel issues which included the transfer of Portia Jones into the position of Assistant Superintendent for Federal Programs and Equity. The brief meeting was then adjourned.
