HEMPSTEAD COUNTY – The railroad crossing on Hempstead 189 will be closed until later this afternoon today, Monday, May 22nd. Traffic should find an alternate route or be prepared for an extremely long delay.

HEMPSTEAD COUNTY – The Hempstead County Courthouse will be closed Monday, May 29th, in observance of the Memorial Day holiday. Residential COUNTY trash routes will run as usual on Monday.
