Mrs. Vera Lavada Keith
Mrs. Vera Lavada Keith, age 87 of Hope, Arkansas passed away, Wednesday, January 4, 2017. She was born May 9, 1929 in Dierks, Arkansas to Lewis and Leila Hust. The family later settled in Magnolia and she lived most of her life there and raised her family, first in town, and later on a farm west of Magnolia. Before marrying, she was a telephone operator for Southwestern Bell. She was a loving “stay at home” mother to three children and was married to T.T. “Dickie” Keith for 61 years. In her later years, she served as a volunteer for the Hope/Hempstead County Chamber of Commerce. She was a Christian and a faithful member of Friendship Baptist Church and later Hebron Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband, her daughter, Susan Keith, her parents and her siblings, Billie Perry, Ioma Winkle, Loretta “Tot” Holmes, and Roy Hust.
Survivors include; her son, Terry Keith, wife, Jan of Texarkana, TX, son, Mark Keith, wife, Shelley of Hope, grand-daughters; Lindsay Thompson and Molly Keith, great-granddaughter; Rebecca Thompson, other family members and friends

Visitation will be 6:00 to 8:00pm on Friday, January 6, 2017 at BRAZZEL/Oakcrest Funeral Home 1001 S. Main Hope, AR.
