Miss SWAR pageant returns to Hope
HOPE – The Miss Southwest Arkansas and Miss Arkansas Outstanding Teen Pageant has been moved back in Hope.
The pageant will be held February 25 at 6pm in Klipsch Auditorium. The Miss Southwest Arkansas Scholarship Pageant is a preliminary pageant to the Miss Arkansas Scholarship pageant. The Miss Arkansas Organization exists to provide personal and professional opportunities for young women and to promote their voices in culture, politics, and the community. The Miss Arkansas Organization is one of the leading providers of scholarships for young women.
The Miss Southwest Arkansas Scholarship Pageant is glad to be associated with such a parent organization. The Miss Southwest Arkansas Scholarship Pageant strives to help young women leave a legacy of service, scholarship, and support beginning at the preliminary level. The winners in the Miss and Teen divisions will receive scholarships and prizes and become goodwill ambassadors for the Southwest Arkansas area which consists of Clark, Columbia, Dallas, Hempstead, Howard, Lafayette, Little River, Miller, Nevada, Ouachita, Pike, Polk, Sevier, and Union. The winners will appear at various events in the Southwest Arkansas area to promote their platform and to raise money for the Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals.
