Mrs. Edyth McBride

Mrs. Edythe McBride, age 69 of Emmet, Arkansas passed away, Sunday, January 15, 2017 in Little Rock, Arkansas. She was born in Lake Village, Arkansas on July 14, 1947 to Albert “AB” and Frances Strother Hodges. Mrs. McBride was retired from the Hope Police Department as a Dispatcher and she had worked for Kenny Light with L &L Logging for over 28 years. She is preceded in death by parents and husband Bobby McBride.

 

Survivors include two daughters; Tammy Thomas, husband Jared of Redwater, Texas and Tiffany Watters, husband Billy of Willisville, Arkansas, two brothers; Landy Hodges, Deb of Emmet, Arkansas and Alvin Hodges, wife Jackie of DeAnn, Arkansas, three sisters; Glenda Watts of Emmet, Arkansas, Cathy Brown, husband Ron of Hope, Arkansas and Janette Silliman, husband Bill of Prescott, Arkansas eight grandchildren and two great grandchildren.

 

Visitation will be 6:00pm to 8:00pm on Tuesday, January 17, 2017 at Brazzel/Oakcrest 1001 South Main Hope, Arkansas.

 

Funeral services will be 2:00 pm Wednesday, January 18, 2017 at Brazzel/Oakcrest Chapel with Bro. Haagon Lister officiating. Burial will follow in Snell Cemetery.
