Mark Keith Resigns As Director Of Hope/Hempstead Chamber Of Commerce

UPDATE – Mitch Bobo, newly elected President of the Hope/Hempstead County Chamber of Commerce Board, gave this statement Friday:

“I appreciate all that Mark has done for the Chamber and the community. I hate that he made the decision he did, and I wish him well going forward.”

HOPE – Mark Keith, longtime director of the Hope/Hempstead Chamber of Commerce, tendered his resignation Wednesday at a meeting of the board of directors of the Chamber.

Mr. Keith, who has been the Director of the Chamber for 20 years, made the unexpected move during the meeting that was largely focused on cuts to the Chamber budget.

Calls to Mitch Bobo, newly-installed President of the board of directors, were not returned. Mr. Keith stated that a statement from himself would be forthcoming.image
