Business After Hours Thursday At ArtStation
By Staff, 01/26/17 6:34 AMHOPE – The Southwest Arkansas Arts Council will hold a “Business After Hours” showing of the “Outsider Art” retrospective of the works of Prescott artist Spot Daniel.
The special showing is set for 4-6pm Thursday at the ArtStation, 200 East Division Street, in Downtown Hope.
“While Daniel self-describes his works as ‘rough or raw art’ his subjects are easily recognizable although considerably altered,” SWAAC First Vice-President John Hollis said. “Daniel considers himself an ‘Outsider’ in the art world and classifies his art as ‘Outsider Art'”.
The gallery showing of Daniel’s art will be open to the public from January 31st through February 24th, 11:00am to 1:00pm, Tuesdays through Thursdays at the ArtStation.
