Mr. Charlie Henry

Mr. Charlie Henry, age 91 of Hope, Arkansas passed away Thursday, February 2, 2017 in Prescott, Arkansas. Mr. Henry was born in Bluff City, Arkansas on November 11, 1925 to Charles Clinton and Minnie Ola Starnes Henry. Mr. Henry is retired from the Soil Conservation, retiring in 1980, and a US Navy veteran of World War II serving on the USS Chub Submarine. Mr. Henry was a member of the Monticello Church of Christ. He was an avid bird hunter and dog trainer and was a member of the Razorback Chapter of the NSTRA Association. He is preceded in death by his parents.

 

Mr. Henry is survived by his wife of 64 years, Betty Hildebrand Henry, one son; Patrick Henry, wife, Debbie of Hope, one daughter; Kris Morgan, husband, Gary of Portland, AR, grandson; Brad Morgan and wife, Nikki, grand-daughter, Dr. Kara Morgan and husband, Kelvan Brown, grandson; Michael Henry, grandson; Hunter Henry and great-grand-daughter; Elizabeth Brown.

 

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Bluff City Cemetery Association 610 North Calhoun 95 Camden, AR 71701 or to the National Alzheimer’s Association.

 

Visitation, 6:00 to 8:00pm on Friday, February 3, 2017 at BRAZZEL/Cornish 1196 Hwy. 371 West Prescott, AR.

 

Graveside service will be 1:00pm on Saturday, February 4, 2017 at Bluff City Cemetery in Bluff City, AR with Mr. Steve Lance officiating. Burial will follow.
