Clinic offers heart programs
HOPE – As February is American Heart Month, Wadley Regional Medical Center will be presenting a series of heart healthy programs.
Dr. Sylwia Karpinski will present a discussion on “Smoking and Heart Surgery, at 2 p.m. on Feb. 10. Reservations are requested and can be made by calling 1-877-792-3539.
Daniel Owens will talk about “How Does High Cholesterol Cause Heart Disease” at noon on Feb. 15. Cholesterol screenings will be done and lunch will be provided. Again, reservations are required.
The third speaker will be Dr. Poongodhai Ramachandran at 1 p.m. on Feb. 22. She will talk about “Women and Atrial Fibrillation”. Reservations are requested.
Devin Robinson and Dawn Little will have the program at 1 p.m. on Feb. 24. They will talk about “Heart Attack Signs in Women can be Different”. Again, reservations are requested.
At 3 p.m. on Feb. 24, Kathy Robertson, will talk about “Numbers you should know”. Reservations are requested.
