HOPE Learning Center Among State’s Top Five

LITTLE ROCK – The Helping Our Pupils Excel (HOPE) Learning Center at Hope High School was named one of the top five best Alternative Learning Environment programs in the state Thursday.

Students Pedro Vargas, Deonte Thornton and Kimberly Almazon represented the program along with the director Billy Rook and HHS Principal Bill Hoglund.

The group also visited a session of the Arkansas Legislature and met with State Representative Danny Watson, R-Hope.image
