AHTD Project To Start On Interstate Off-ramps

LITTLE ROCK – The Arkansas State Highway Commission has approved a bid for improvements to freeway off-ramps throughout the state.

The purpose of this project is to install off-ramp improvements such as sign replacements, lowered signs and ramp delineations.

The off-ramps in the Hempstead/Nevada counties included in this project are:

Hempstead –

Exit Number 18 (County Road 1)

Exit Number 30 (State Highway 278)

Exit Number 31 (State Highway 29)

Exit Number 36 (State Highway 299)

Weigh Station Exit

Nevada –

Exit Number 44 (State Highway 371)

Exit Number 46 (State Highway 19)

Ewing Signal Construction, LLC of Nixa, MO was awarded the contract at $3,098,847.80.
