Cattle Receipts: 933           Last week: 979             Last year: 904

 

Compared to last week: Feeder steers steady to 3.00 higher, except 300-350

lbs were 8.00 higher. Feeder heifers under 500 lbs steady to 3.00 higher except

300-350 lbs were 8.00 higher, over 500 lbs steady to 4.00 lower. Slaughter cows

and bulls steady to 2.00 higher.

Supply included 545 feeder calves; 211 yearlings; 35 replacement cows; 120

slaughter cows; 22 slaughter bulls. Feeder supply consisted of 40 percent

English and English crosses; 38 percent Exotic and Exotic crosses; 22 percent

Brahman and Brahman crosses. Feeder supply included 56 percent steers and

bulls; 44 percent heifers. Prices follow with weighted average price in
