Still time to register for Scout-O-Rama

TEXARKANA, TX – There’s still time for area Boy and Girl Scout troops to sign up for the 2017 Scout-O-Rama regional scout show in Texarkana at Spring Lake Park.

This event will include scouts from Arkansas, Oklahoma and Texas and be held April 21-23. Friday and Sunday will be for scouting units only, with the festivities open to the public April 22 from 10:30 a.m. until 4 p.m.

Events scouts will participate in include: patch trading, hot air balloons, pinewood derby racing, fishing, car derby racing, tomahawk throwing, Native American dancing, cowboy shootout reenactors, blacksmithing and canoeing.
