Clinton Primary Hosts Community Reader Program

HOPE – Hope School Board member and police detective Lieutenant Jimmy Courtney read aloud to Robin Bobo’s second grade class at Clinton Primary School recently.

Courtney is among community volunteers who have read aloud to classes at the school throughout the year.

The Lil Cat Reading Club Program is part of an early literacy initiative of the Hope Public Schools to encourage interactive between adults and children. Any adult may volunteer to read to a class at Clinton Primary School. Reading sessions are typically on Fridays and schedules are available by contacting Ken McLemore, HPS communications director at ken.mclemore@hpsdistrict.org online.image
