Historic Washington Hosts 49th Annual Jonquil Festival
HISTORICAL WASHINGTON – The arrival of spring is heralded each year with a bounty of beautiful jonquils at Historic Washington State Park.
Welcome the season by shopping over a hundred arts and craft booths during the 49th annual Jonquil Festival, March 17 – 19, 2017.
Take time to tour the historic homes and grounds or take a surrey ride through this 19th century town.
They will have live music, including John King, Saturday March 18th, at 11:00am, and they’ll have their first singing competition Saturday afternoon from 2:00 – 4:00pm. The Hope Evening Lions Club will be hosting a 5K run Saturday morning at 7:00am.
There will be plenty of festival food along with the buffet being served at Williams Tavern Restaurant.
Festival admission is free, with a $5.00 parking fee. Guided tours of museums are $9.00 for adults, $6.00 for children (6 – 12), with ages 5 and under are free.
