Dannie’s Cafe To Open For Lunch

SHOVER SPRINGS – Dannie’s Cafe, the popular fine dining restaurant located just outside of Hope, will begin opening for lunch on Thursdays and Fridays, from 11:00am to 2:00pm, beginning April 6th. They are currently open evenings from 5:00 to 9:00pm.

Dannie’s added on to their original building last year and can now accommodate 36 diners and 50 for special events. The new addition blends perfectly into the original in a French style, and is enjoyable to look at between courses.

Dannie’s serves family food cooked to perfection, using fresh ingredients bought locally. They also give classes on the preparation of some of the favorites.

HopePrescott.com will donating a $50 gift certificate to each the Hope Chamber of Commerce annual dinner/auction and the Prescott Chamber of Commerce dinner/auction, both rapidly approaching. There will be numerous items for the silent auctions, all donated by members of the communities, so contact your Chamber for tickets.

To reach Dannie’s, take Highway 278 East to Highway 32 for 1.5 miles. Take the first left after the “Shover Springs” sign. Immediately bear right of the Shover Springs Baptist Church on to Oak Grove Road, also known as Hempstead 54. Dannie’s is located 1.75 miles on Hempstead 54.  There will be a Methodist Church on the left; Dannie’s is on the right in a red barn with a white farm house in front about 500 feet down the road – 475 Hempstead 54.
