Pafford donates trauma bags to HCSO

HCSO DONATIONHOPE – Paramedics from Pafford EMS delivered 25 trauma bags to the Hempstead County Sheriff’s Office (HCSO) Monday.

These bags contain various items to help control bleeding, assist with CPR, have heavy bandages and other potentially lifesaving items. The bags will be passed out to all deputies and reserve officers to be kept in their patrol cars.

The bags were donated by Ben and Jamie Pafford, who told Hempstead County Sheriff James Singleton they will replace any items used on the scene of an emergency at no charge. Singleton thanks the Paffords for the donation and commitment to ensure the deputies are provided with such important emergency equipment.
