Cattle Receipts: 2044 Last week: 862 Last year: 1085
Compared to last week: Feeder steers and heifers steady. Slaughter cows
steady to 1.00 lower. Slaughter bulls steady. Supply included 880 feeder
calves; 950 yearlings with 520 of these being preconditioned cattle; 25
replacement cows; 166 slaughter cows; 23 slaughter bulls. Feeder supply consisted
of 45 percent English and English crosses; 37 percent Exotic and Exotic crosses;
18 percent Brahman and Brahman crosses. Feeder supply included 67 percent steers
and bulls; 33 percent heifers. Prices follow with weighted average price in
