Mr. Jimmie Ray Conley
Mr. Jimmie Ray “Bear” Conley, age 84 of Guernsey, Arkansas passed away Monday, March 27, 2017, at his home. He was born in Judsonia, Arkansas on November 20, 1932 to Thomas Neal and Mary Polan Conley. He was a US Navy veteran of Korea War, a retired electrician (Lineman) for the City of Hope with 28 years of employment and a Baptist by faith. Jimmie enjoyed spending time with his family, and working and growing a garden. He was a loving and devoted husband, father and grandfather and will be missed by his family and friends. He is preceded in death by his parents; Thomas Neal and Mary Conley, a son; Ray Conley, three brothers; Robert Conley, Thomas Conley and Oscar David “Jeep” Conley and his sister; Geraldine “Sis” Dyson.
Survivors include; his wife of 58 years, Alice Conley of Guernsey, two daughters; Kathy Ingersoll, her husband, Frankie of Hope and Allison Wall-Compton, her husband, Jon of Bossier City, Louisiana, a brother; Joe Conley his wife, Kitty of Judsonia, Arkansas, a sister; Dauty Cranford of Strawberry, Arkansas, five grandchildren: Mandy Davis, Krystal Dean, Darrell Dean, Justin Dean and Cody Wall and sixteen (16) great-grandchildren, other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be Thursday evening, 5:00 to & 7:00pm, March 30, 2017 at BRAZZEL/Oakcrest Funeral Home 1001 South Main Hope, AR.
