Final Edition Of Soup And Sermon Held

HOPE – The final edition of “Soup and Sermon” was held Wednesday April 5th at the Partish Hall of Our Good Lady Of Hope Catholic Church.

A great crowd was on hand to hear Bishop Johnnie L. Jones of Providence Full Gospel Missionary Baptist Church speak. He chose his liturgy from Acts, Chapter 1, and spoke on prayer.

A truely ecumenical group was on hand with representatives from the Methodist, Baptist, Assembly of God, Latter Day Saints, Presbyterian and Catholic Churches on hand.

The ladies of Providence also served several different varieties of tasty soups at the event.

Soup and Sermon is a program of the Hope/Hempstead County Ministerial Alliance.
