Boozman Statement On Syrian Airstrike
WASHINGTON – U.S. Senator John Boozman (R-AR) issued the following statement about U. S. airstrikes against a Syrian airbase:
“In carrying out a chemical attack on innocent civilians, Bashar al-Assad has clearly violated international law. Limited, swift and decisive action was required to deter further brutality and show that these types of inhumane acts will not be tolerated. Moving forward, the administration must engage with Congress to seek approval for further action. As I have said since 2013, we need a strategic plan that details military and diplomatic involvement, and outlines, most importantly, the end goal for the region and our allies.”
Have you ever noticed that with Boozeman “everything always needs fixing but somehow never gets completed,” typical politician, “always create yourself a never ending unfinished job.” I will give him a completion credit. He:s taking a solid stand and completion record for passing out American flags, and naming post offices and talking all about what he’s going to do. You go John!
