PHS EAST prepares care packages for soldiers
PRESCOTT – Home of the free because of the brave. Thursday, April 6, Sgt. Arkless from Hope National Guard, part of the 1st Battalion, 153rd Infantry Regiment, spoke to 7-12 grade students about our Troops deployed in Africa. He explained to the students ‘what they are’ and ‘what they do.’ He discussed why it is important to show our support through letters, care packages and also to reach out to family members of our deployed soldiers. EAST is asking students to donate items to be mailed to our soldiers. The first care package will be mailed April 25. Boxes will be in all three of the school offices. Never forget out troops.
