Re-Entry Job Fair Scheduled
HOPE – Governor Hutchinson has signed a proclamation for Re-Entry Awareness Week for April 24th through 30th.
Officer Susan Honore, the Re-Entry Officer for Arkansas Community Corrections is over eight counties in Southwest Arkansas: Hempstead, Howard, Nevada, Lafayette, Sevier, Pike, Little River and Miller. She will be hosting a Job Fair which is much needed for returning citizens. She is inviting all employers from these counties to participate in having a successful event.
Hempstead Hall has been gracious to help supply the place for the event and now she just needs employers to participate. Cooper Tire and others have already accepted.
Ms. Honore also asks any Hope business who might like to donate donuts or pizza for the event to contact her.

Vendors include Gary Do, Workforce MNG; Byron Sanders (support group) Veterans; UACCH; Hempstead Hall; Kelly George, WOTC, Little Rock; Dr. Cynthia Hill, WOTC, different umbrella, Little Rock; Patricia Sims, The Good Grid, Little Rock; Beverly McIntyre, TANF, Hope; WIOA; Express, Texarkana; Manpower, Hope; Pilgrim Pride, DeQueen; Tyson of Hope, Hope; Cooper Tire, Texarkana; and Husqvarna, of Nashville.
There is no registration fee for employers. Prospective employees will meet with employers, have mock interviews, receive resume assistance, learn about community resources and undergo skills analysis.
The Job Fair will take place Wednesday April 26th, from 10:00am to 2:00pm, at Hempstead Hall.
