Fulton Searching For Parks Improvement Taskforce Committee
FULTON – The town council of Fulton voted unanimously to create a Taskforce on Parks and Recreation at their monthly meeting. The Taskforce will be a nine-member group made up of council members and residents.
Information meetings about the Taskforce will be Tuesday April 18th, at 6:30pm at the Brotherhood of Fulton building at the corner of Highway 355 and Highway 195; also on Saturday April 29th, at 10:30am at Charity Baptist Church, 5210 Highway 67 West.
The Fulton Park was built in 1995. The Taskforce will engage in broad public outreach efforts and help the town fashion a framework for evaluating a range of actions to increase opposition for quality activities at the park and in the community.
Interested persons, including those who live outside of the town’s formal boundaries, should attend the information sessions.
