Mr. Don Bateman

Mr. Don “James” Bateman, 81, of Hope, Arkansas passed away Thursday, April 20, 2017 in Texarkana, Texas.Mr. Bateman was born March 14, 1936 on Pike County, Arkansas to Cyrus and Dosha Bateman.

Mr. Bateman was a retired contractor specializing in house leveling and was the owner of Bateman Siding.

He was preceded in death by his parents and one grandson.

Survivors are his wife Annette Franks Bateman of the home, son Steve Bateman and Vicki, step-son Alan Brown and Melanie, all of Hope, AR, eight grandchildren, one great grandchild, one great-great grandchild and a host of friends.

Visitation will be held Sunday, April 23, 2017 from 2:00pm to 3:00pm at Herndon Pharr Funeral Home in Hope.

Graveside service will follow at 4:00pm at the Delight Cemetery in Delight, Arkansas with Bro. Gary Bolin officiating under the direction of Herndon Pharr Funeral Home.
