Cattle Receipts: 1469           Last week: 989             Last year: 709

 

Compared to last week: Feeder steers 4.00-6.00 higher, except 300-350 lbs

10.00 higher. Feeder heifers under 500 lbs steady, over 500 lbs 3.00-8.00

higher. Slaughter cows steady. Slaughter bulls steady.

Supply included 665 feeder calves; 417 yearlings; 95 replacement cows; 271

slaughter cows; 21 slaughter bulls. Feeder supply consisted of 44 percent

English and English crosses; 36 percent Exotic and Exotic crosses; 20 percent

Brahman and Brahman crosses. Feeder supply included 53 percent steers and

bulls; 47 percent heifers. Prices follow with weighted average price in
