Depot gets $50,000 donation

PRESCOTT – Mary Godwin, Executive Director of Prescott Nevada County Economic Development Office presented Paul Ridgell, President of the Nevada County Depot and Museum, with a check for $50,000 from Economic Development, which was grant money sponsored by Senator Bruce Maloch and Senator Larry Teague. Others on hand for the presentation were Judge Mark Glass, Judy Duke, Depot & Museum Board Secretary, Peggy Lloyd, Board member. The funds will go toward the purchase of the Prairie D’Ane Battlefield. Thank you so much EDO for supporting the Depot and Museum in this fund raising effort.
