YARD SALE 001

PRESCOTT – There was pretty much something for everyone at the first Community Craft and Garage Sales Saturday.

The streets of downtown Prescott were lined with tables, tents and booths filled with items ranging from power tools to baby clothes, and almost everything in between. However, it wasn’t just the streets downtown that were filled, sales were held throughout the county as well as all over Prescott.

The Potlatch Building was filled with people and their wares, as was the Youth Center. The Youth Center had people both inside and out with their tables overflowing with goods.

Sterling Square was a popular spot for vendors as well, but sales could be found practically anywhere in Prescott from the Farmer’s Market, up and down Hwy. 67, out on Cale Rd. and at Baptist Health Clinic.

There were clothes of all shapes and sizes, for women and children available. There were also plenty of DVDs, CDs, lamps, jars, bottles, jewelry and hand crafted items for patrons to purchase. There was even a bit of fishing gear to be found for those who searched hard enough.

Almost three dozen vendors were set up all over the area to sell their wares. All in all, the first sale was a success. It will be done again on Nov. 4.
