Beer 30 takes 1st Annual SFC Ricardo Young tourney
ROSSTON – The Oak Grove Community Outreach Center sponsored the 1st Annual SFC Ricardo D Young Memorial Softball Tournament at Nevada Schools on Saturday, May 9 in Rosston.
The late SFC Ricardo D Young was killed in Ghazni Providence, Afghanistan on August 28, 2013. The tournament was a huge success with five teams competing for the “Best of the Best” title. The five teams were Hit-n-Sit (Rosston); Tailgaters (Hope); G-Town (Gurdon); Beer 30 (Texarkana) and Outlaws (Waldo). Beer 30 walked away with the “Best of the Best” title. The tournament was well attended. Herbert Coleman presented the late SFC Young’s family with t-shirts.
