Mr. David Howard Key, age 62 of Hope, Arkansas passed away, Tuesday, May 30, 2017 in Texarkana, TX. David was born in Dallas, Texas on December 2, 1954 to Howard Franklin and Falba Grisham Key. David was a retired fireman for the City of Hope, a US Army veteran serving during the Vietnam War and has also worked for the Arkansas Highway Department. He was a member of the Unity Baptist Church in Hope.  He is preceded in death by his parents and a brother; Danny Key.

David is survived by his wife of 42 years, Pam Conatser Key of Hope, a son; Jason Key of Hope, a daughter; Rachel Cobb of Hope, a brother; Paul Lively, wife, Karen of Magnolia, sister; Denise Sewell, her husband, Paul of Texarkana, TX, five grandchildren: Quiana Key, Quentin Key, Quincee Key, Tyler Shavers and Alyssa Cobb, other family members and friends.

The Key Family wishes to give a “special” thank-you to the Staff of Hospice of Texarkana for the wonderful care and for that reason, the family request that memorials be made to the Hospice of Texarkana 2407 Galleria Oaks Texarkana, TX 75503.

Visitation 1:00 to 2:00pm on Sunday, June 3, 2017 at BRAZZEL/Oakcrest Funeral Home 1001 South Main Hope, AR.

Funeral service, 2:00pm on Sunday, June 3, 2017 at BRAZZEL/Oakcrest The Funeral Home of Hope, with Bro. Glen Tropp officiating.
