Hope Farmers Market

HOPE- The city of Hope hosted its Farmers Market Tuesday, June 6. The Women’s Committee of Hempstead County Farm Bureau and artist Michael Sherbet hosted the hospitality table, with the help of Huck Plyler. The booth had coffee, cookies, muffins, and a chance to win a gift basket of fresh goodies.

Fresh fruits, vegetables, honeys, jams and jellies, muffins, breads, and berries were being sold by vendors, along with homemade soaps.

The University of Arkansas County and Extension Agent, with Connie Lizardi, SNAP Program Assistant hosted the “Taste This”  and created their cucumber tomato salad with lemon poppy seed dressing.
