HOPE – The Hempstead County Farm Bureau is celebrating Farm Bureau Child Safety Week by purchasing several child safety seats and booster seats for local law enforcement agencies.

The law enforcement agencies can distribute the seats as they see fit, such as to a family who has been in an accident and should not reuse the car seats that were in the trauma.

The presentation was made at the Hope Farm Bureau June 6th and included Farm Bureau Agemcy Manager Reed Camp, Hempstead County Farm Bureau President Mark Lloyd, Sgt. Dusty Townsend of the Hope Police Department, Trooper Christina Bussey and Sgt. Jamie Gravier of Troop “G” of the Arkansas State Police, Sheriff James Singleton and Farm Bureau officer Don Honea.
