Cuffs and Hoses Blood Drive

HOPE- Our local law enforcement and fire fighters were fighting for blood yesterday, with a battle between the two to see who could raise the most blood donations. The blood drive is a chance for our local hero’s to team up against one another to save more lives. At the end of the day they will see which group donated the most blood.

The blood donation took place at the Community Center in the Fair Park on June 27 from 2:00-7:00p.m and was put on by LifeShare where all the blood that was donated would be used in our local hospitals and emergency centers across southern Arkansas, Louisiana, and eastern Texas. The goal for the evening was to collect 26 units of blood, as of 5:30 yesterday afternoon they had received 20 units of blood.
