Ribbon Cutting Held For Yerger Museum

HOPE – The Yerger Museum Committee held a ribbon cutting Friday July 7th for the Yerger Museum.

Special guests included Yerger graduate Senator Linda Pondexter Chesterfield who secured GIF money for the museum as well as former County Clerk and State Representative Sandra Rodgers who got the initial funding for the museum during her time in the legislature.

Also on hand was Hope Mayor Steve Montgomery and State Representative Danny Watson.

A big crowd was on hand for the event and a first look at the museum. Many of the Yerger Alumni in town for the Yerger Reunion were there to see the museum.
