Mrs. Wilma Rea King
Mrs. Wilma Rea King, age 77 of Hope, Arkansas passed away, Monday, July 10, 2017 in Texarkana, Texas. She was born on July 12, 1939 in Pine Bluff, Arkansas to Sam and Ava Van Dalsen Thomas. Mrs. King enjoyed reading books and spending time with family and friends, who will miss her. She was a member of Macedonia Free Will Baptist Church in the New Edinburg, Arkansas and a retired employee of Potlatch Corporation. She is preceded in death by her parents; Sam and Ava Van Thomas, first husband, Claudie Haycox, Sr, and her second husband, Ray King.
Survivors include; four sons: Claudie Haycox, Jr, wife, Vickie of Monticello, AR, Sammy Haycox of Hope, AR, Richard Haycox, wife, Debbie of Spring Hill, AR and Daniel King of Hope, a daughter; Donna Givens, husband, James, Sr. of Thornton, AR, numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Visitation will be 6:00 to 8:00pm on Thursday, July 13, 2017 at BRAZZEL/Oakcrest The Funeral Home 1001 South Main St. Hope, AR.
Graveside service will be 11:00am on Friday, July 14, 2017 at Reaves Cemetery in New Edinburg, Arkansas with Rev. James Givens, Jr. and Bro. Jim Bynum officiating. Burial will follow.
