Hope Lions Club Hears About National Night Out
HOPE – The Hope Lions Club heard from Lion Angela Gammage of the Hope Police Department on July 24th.
Gammage told about the Hope observance of “National Night Out” which is set for August 1st from 6pm to 8pm at Hope’s Fair Park. National Night Out is a community awareness program to create awareness with the public on police programs. The event began locally in 2012 and last year it drew over 1,500 people..
Everyone is invited out to enjoy hot dogs, a dunking booth, and other fun events. The police are joined by the Hempstead County Sheriff’s Department, the Hope Fire Department, Pafford EMS, the Arkansas State Police, the Hempstead County Health Unit, and other community partners.
