HOPE – Hope Water & Light transitioned from its old customer information system to the new and improved Customer Care and Billing (CCB) on Monday, July 31.

A major change only a few customers will see will be a different due date. We have decided to combine two billing cycles and make them one. Customers with a previous due date of the 20th of each month will be moved to a due date of the 25th beginning with the next bill they receive. All customers’ bills will look different. Once you receive your new bill don’t forget to open it and look at the insert and view your bill to see the changes in the format. We are pleased with the changes and hope you will be also.

This week we also begin our call capture. Customers who didn’t pay their utility bill and may be up for disconnection will receive a gentle reminder via the telephone 48 hours prior to disconnection of service. If we do not have a good telephone number for you, we will not be able to notify you of the impending disconnection. So, it is important that you reach out to the customer service department and update your data. Because we know that we all forget from time to time to make a payment for whatever reason, we chose to add this extra step to create a more customer friendly environment.

Don’t forget we are getting ready for the “no fee” credit card, debit card and electronic check features that HWL will be offering beginning September 5th. It is our goal to keep you updated as we move through this process.

Contact the HWL Customer Service Department to make sure your information is up to date or if you have any additional questions. The telephone number is 870-777-3000.
